All the lectures were interesting, engaging and worthwhile. Some of the topics/headings were not quite what I thought they were going to be, but overall the takeaways ended up being quite satisfactory.

I learned a lot about the deeper workings of cardiac devices that will change my preop management of said devices. I will bring numerous topics about vigilance and substance abuse to my residents to improve their knowledge. I will use more adjuncts to anesthesia. I will be much more aware of transmural pressure when taking care of cerebral aneurysm patients.

I enjoyed the discussion of OB hemorrhage, pediatric dosing & prep techniques, and cardiac management patients. All of these scenarios will be applicable in daily practice.

I learned a ton that I will be able to take back to my practice. I have to say that in a dozen years of attending CME, this was my favorite. I loved the speakers and found each of them engaging and personable in their own ways. I would attend this conference again in a heart beat and hope others can live up to it.

There were numerous articles provided within this lecture that allows a solid background for me to incorporate new EBP into the clinical arena. Most notably, I feel more comfortable with most recent HTN periop guidelines and feel more knowledgeable about my care as well as physiology understanding for pulmonary HTN patients.

The lectures and education provided during this conference gives me a better understanding how to treat/ manage OB and cardiac patients. Specifically LVAD, TAVR patients. I will also bring back to my organization ideas to help identify challenges with burnout and managing difficult personalities.
