Saturday, April 11 - Orlando (Port Canaveral), Florida - Embark

As the home of Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral is the launching point for all-out adventure in Central Florida. Its beaches offer a mix of family-friendly shores and secluded swaths of sand. And with Orlando’s theme park sprawl only an hour away, you can easily mingle with your favorite characters. Beyond the parks lie equally amusing gems packed with Old Florida character. Kayak past manatees in the Banana River Lagoon and zip line above alligators at Brevard Zoo. Discover notable art museums and Park Avenue’s ritzy charm. Orlando cruises give you access to trace the region’s roots at the Orange County Regional History Museum.

Lift off into interstellar exploration at the Kennedy Space Center. Among interactive Mission Zones you’ll see the Saturn V rocket and the Space Shuttle orbiter Atlantis. Go behind the gates to discover historic launch sites and working spaceflight facilities, plus marvel at the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame. Connect with Florida’s natural side while riding waves at Cocoa Beach or basking in seclusion at Canaveral National Seashore. Don’t miss a kayak trip through glowing bioluminescent waters, or an airboat ride through wetlands. Cruise to Orlando-Port Canaveral and swim in rejuvenating freshwater springs - or tee off at one of Orlando’s 150 golf courses. Orlando is known as a land of amusements - and for good reason. The city is home to six unique theme parks, each with their own distinct thrills, including Universal Studios Orlando and Islands of Adventure. Or you can venture beyond the Big Six to Gatorland’s swampy terrain, or hit one of the many epic waterparks around town.

The Cove at Port Canaveral is home to plenty of waterfront restaurants serving up fresh fish tacos and mahi-mahi sandwiches. Orlando has its fair share of celebrity chef-led, farm-to-table spots - and character meals are popular at the theme park resorts. And the Mills 50 District north of downtown Orlando is famous for its Vietnamese fare. The shops in Historic Cocoa Village sell local handmade art and tropical décor. Souvenir shopping in Orlando is best at Disney Springs, Universal CityWalk and along International Drive. Stop by the family-owned Orange Blossom Indian River Citrus for Florida-grown oranges, grapefruits and other fruits during your Orlando cruise.

Sunday, April 12 - At Sea

Monday, April 13 - Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic - Docked

Puerto Plata was inhabited by the Taino people for centuries before Christopher Columbus arrived and founded the city in the early 1500s. By the 20th century, Puerto Plata had emerged as the Dominican Republic’s main tourism hub. You can paddle through a manatee reserve or zipline over treetops. Go for a swim at the awe-inspiring 27 Waterfalls complex. Hike through the lush, protected jungle of El Choco National Park, enjoying the park’s two lagoons. Swim with dolphins at World Ocean, the largest manmade dolphin habitat in the world, or grab a kayak and head out on the water at Manatee Reserve. Nature, adventure, history – Puerto Plata has it all.

Tuesday, April 14 - San Juan, Puerto Rico - Docked

Puerto Rico is one of the largest islands in the Eastern Caribbean. Discover the classic signs of a vacationer’s paradise on one of our many cruises to Puerto Rico: gorgeous landscape with lush green mountains, underground caves, balmy waters, white-sandy beaches, delicious rum drinks and so much more. Spend an afternoon snorkeling during your cruise to Puerto Rico and discover the beautiful marine life of the Caribbean Sea while swimming among the fish, coral communities, mangrove forests, and seagrass beds. Or take an evening sail around Old San Juan for amazing views of the 500-year-old walled city as the sun casts gorgeous light on the turquoise waters.

Old San Juan is one of the first cities to be established in the New World. Explore the historical forts that were built to protect the island during Spanish occupation. Navigate through the tunnels, dungeons, and barrack of San Cristobal, San Felipe del Morro, San Juan de las Cruz, and the city walls. Stroll the blue-toned cobblestone streets and uncover various UNESCO sites, museums, historic churches, restaurants and much more along the way.

Take a tour of the Bacardi headquarters and learn about the process of rum making from barrel to bottle. Get a glimpse into the history of the world’s most awarded rum and sample the final product while you’re at it. Visit Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico for the most gorgeous fine art collections on the island, including paintings, sculptures, and carvings as far back as the 17th century.

From roadside stalls serving up delicious local snacks like alcapurrias to the finest restaurants with the freshest seafood on menus, enjoy the fusion of Spanish, Taíno, African, and US influences and flavors of San Juan’s rich culinary traditions. Cruise to San Juan and discover an island with a fascinating history that is one of the most stunning examples of colonial life in the Western world.

Wednesday, April 15 - Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis - Docked

Explore French and English colonial architecture, breathtaking beaches, and lush landscapes beneath soaring mountain peaks.

Walking distance from the St. Kitts cruise port, find the Circus and Independence Square. The Circus is a roundabout lined by local shops with artisanal batik clothing, leatherwork, and weaving. Stroll another couple blocks to Independence Square, site of the stately courthouse and cathedral.

West of Basseterre, visit 350-year-old Romney Manor estate, once owned by a British earl. The grounds include magnificent gardens with exotic plants and an amazing saman tree—as old as the estate—that covers half an acre.

Tour Brimstone Hill Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site, 750 feet above the Caribbean. Ride a narrow-gauge train through breathtaking scenery on the St. Kitts Scenic Railway tour. All round the island, take in magnificent views of Mount Liamuiga, a 3,792-foot-high dormant volcano. Of course, pristine beaches and turquoise waters are everywhere.

For lunch, seek out rustic plantation homes that serve hearty West Indian fare like fresh seafood, local rotis, mango ginger chicken, and goat water stew, blending the islands’ staple protein with local papaya and breadfruit.

You'll have so much to discover before returning to the St. Kitts cruise port.
