Towering more than a mile above the valley known as Jackson Hole, the Grand Teton rises to 13,770 feet above sea level. Grand Teton National Park and the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway offer a variety of activities. Featuring three legendary ski resorts, Jackson Hole is a paradise for winter sports. You'll find exhilarating downhill-skiing and snowboarding, back county adventures, cross county skiing, snowshoeing, snow tubing and more to help you make the most of this winter wonderland! There's also hiking, wildlife viewing, photography, sleigh and dog sled rides, snowmobile tours, and more. In addition to grand mountain vistas, the Tetons host some of the best wildlife hideouts from birds to bison, and don't forget to visit the elk refuge. Non-skiiers can enjoy a day at the spa, or exploring the charming town of Jackson with its variety of unique shopping, excellent dining, art galleries and, of course, the iconic elk antler arch in the Town Square. Don't forget to explore Teton Village as well, hosting a variety of restaurants and lounges to enjoy. With names like the Mangy Moose and Ascent Lounge, you’re sure to find the perfect meal or cocktail to cap off your day.
No visit would be complete without a trip through Grand Teton National Park and the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway. This area has superior wildlife viewing opportunities, especially early or late in the day. Expect to see a variety of waterfowl, moose, deer, elk, bison, and birds of all kinds.
PARK ENTRY FEES: $35 per private vehicle; $30 for a motorcycle; or $20 for each visitor 16 years and older entering by foot, bicycle, ski, etc. These fees provide the visitor with a 7-day entrance permit for Grand Teton National Park and the John D.
